What is SPLENDID’s style of photography? Can we request anything in particular?
Our style is natural and candid. Each wedding is unique and personal and so we pay close attention to every intimate detail as it unfolds. We guide you through the shooting process and help you relax and have fun along the way. Your personal input regarding the style of photography and the editing of your photos is always highly valued.
How many photos will we receive after the wedding?
We take an average of around 90~100 images per hour. To put it in perspective, a 10-hour coverage will generate around 1000 images. All images will be provided in full high-resolution JPEG format, with colour correction and lighting adjustment, ready for printing.
Do I need one or two cinematographers?
SPLENDID insists on filming with 2 cinematographers at all times. In order to produce a full-quality end product, there must be a rich variety of camera angles, audio settings, and cinematic effects. Our highest priority is ensuring that every intimate detail of your wedding day is captured perfectly
Is the second shooter a professional photographer/cinematographer?
Yes, all of our photographers and cinematographers are trained professionals and qualified in their own right. We provide ongoing, comprehensive training to each and every team member to ensure that your wedding photos and videos meet SPLENDID’s high standards.
What if your package price is over our budget? Can packages be customised?
Our wish is to provide you with a quality service that fits within your budget. Please don’t hesitate to attend an obligation-free meeting to discuss options with one of our client managers. Your client manager will do their best to tailor a package perfect to suit your needs and will be there with you throughout your entire experience with us. Combined photo and cinema packages are encouraged so that we can maximize your total discount.
Are all the photos and videos in your portfolio produced by SPLENDID?
Yes, everything that you see online and in our studio is created exclusively by our trusted team of professionals. All SPLENDID team members have been with us since the beginning, creating unique and timeless images for our clients.
When do we meet with our team leader before the wedding?
We invite both of you back to our studio a few months prior to your wedding day to meet with your team leader and finalize all the details for the big day. At the meeting, your team leader will take time to get to know you, note down your preferences and concerns, and work with you to create a detailed schedule for the day. After the meeting, you will have an open line of contact with your team leader until the day of the wedding.
How many locations can we go for photos on our wedding day?
There is no limit to the number of locations we are willing to cover on your wedding day. We will discuss with you in detail to make sure that the proposed locations fit comfortably within the shooting schedule for the day. We are happy to offer you our professional and creative insight.
What equipment do you use?
Each team member will carry two professional cameras and a complete set of equipment on your wedding day. Multiple lenses are also equipped to create the best shots throughout the day. We use high-speed memory cards to ensure that all shots are backed up instantly.
How much experience does SPLENDID have at our wedding venue?
Our trusted team of professionals has extensive experience across most of Sydney’s wedding venues, as well as a number of overseas destinations. We are always keen to show off our portfolio, so please feel free to come in and take a look for yourself! If you are getting married at a new, up-and-coming venue, we would love to add to our existing collection of work.
What if I’m too nervous, or awkward in front of cameras?
This is what we specialize in! Our friendly and outgoing team members will be sure to make you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the day, maintaining a warm and positive environment. From the moment we say hello, we’ll be with you every step of the way.
Can we get involved in choosing our favourite songs for our wedding movie?
Of course. Our main goal is to tell the story of your relationship, and therefore we highly encourage you to provide us with the songs that you have shared together over the years. Our editor will ensure that the footage from your wedding day blends in seamlessly with the music that you have chosen.

Do you back up all the wedding files?
Yes, backup files are stored for at least 1 year after your wedding day.
Can you hold the date for us?
Unfortunately, we are unable to hold dates due to our highly requested team.We strongly recommend you book in an appointment at your earliest convenience so that we can help you work out the best package to suit your needs and secure your team as soon as possible. Please note that there are bonuses offered for same-day bookings. Feel free to come in and ask.
Do we need a plan B for wet weather?
Our team has extensive experience shooting in all types of weather conditions. You may be surprised, but shots taken in the pouring rain can turn out to be some of the most stunning. Regardless of this, we have a policy of always having a backup plan in case of wet weather.
